NEARLY 50 musicians from Australia, New Zealand and Canada will be performing a light-hearted selection of music at Ashington Community Centre on Saturday, June 28.

Band From Down Under includes many retired people who love to play music, travel and meet people.

Ted Kelly, from Adur Concert Band, said: “Several of the band come from earthquake-stricken Christchurch, while others come from the drought-stricken Outback Australia, so they are very excited to be visiting such a beautiful part of England.”
