Chichester City Ladies bid to win third Sussex Cup in five years
The green and white army have faced a hard season in the FA WNL Southern Premier Division, the third tier league in women’s football, having a team with an average age of 21.
However, the cup holders are keen to retain their crown at Sussex FA, Lancing, and be the cup heroes of Sussex for the third time in five years.

Hide AdFirst team manager Sadie Blakeley has won the Sussex Cup as a player with City and is looking to replicate this in her first season as manager.
Blakeley said: “It’s massive for everyone at the club, especially for the players we have this season as we have been through a lot on and off the pitch.”
Crawley won comfortably against Blakeley’s young side in the league at the beginning of the season. Blakeley said: “Crawley will be a very hard test. They’re having a very good campaign this year with very experienced players. This is shown by them being top of the league and looking a very good bet to win it.”
