CAN J R Smith tell us what planet they are on?
By all accounts, it's not this one!

Firstly, school children are at their desks by 9am.

Secondly, how many people have a job in Worthing where they start at 9.30am?

A couple of months ago, we arranged to meet our daughter in Brighton at 10
.30am.

We were at the bus stop at 9.25am, allowing us to board the bus at 9.30am.

It wasn't until 10am that the bus arrived, meaning that we didn't arrive in Brighton until 10.45 am.

In other words, if JR Smith thinks 9.30am is fair, how can it be when the greater majority can board a bus at 9am?

Not only that, but we are 100 per cent behind Hilda Hammond because on Tuesday this week, five buses were near the pier; one double decker and four single deckers, with not one passenger on board.

So why doesn't J R Smith join the real world?

A Bus driver,

Worthing 24/08/2008 11:03:19
Hmm, how strange waiting half an hour for a bus (700 coastliner) when it runs every ten minutes, where did the other two buses disappear to. The 9.37 from Worthing will get you in to Brighton at 10.25.
As for the buses near the parked near the pier, it is common practice to move buses out of the depot in readiness for service, driver changes, 5 minute layovers etc. Note that there are five bus stops for five buses going in five different directions at five different times.
