WORTHING Thunder's third and final American basketball player will be a 6ft 5in NCAA Division 1 college rookie guard-forward.
He is Colby Bargeman, out of Northwestern State University after four years, where he was second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 11 points and six rebounds a game.

Thunder operations director Alan Sweetman-Hicks announced: "Colby is an
exciting prospect, coming to us straight from college. There is a lot of experience in the team this year, so we felt it was right to give a chance to someone starting out in the professional game. From what we have seen of Colby, he is someone we think our fans will respond to and is the kind of player we think will thrive in the BBL."

Already on board from the States are returning 6ft 7in forward Jonathan Woods from Chicago and 6ft 0in point-guard Ryan Patton from Ohio. Worthing have still to sign an orthodox centre.

Thunder's home-produced 6ft 1in guard Ian Berry will return for a tilt at a BBL career in a second season on the roster after impressing during limited minutes on court last season in the EBBL.
